About Us

In August 2016 our journey started with a small cupcake order. Today, we are a proud team of 11 staff members that are aligned with the heart and vision of this company.

Built on the belief that putting together phenomenal event experiences – no matter how simple or complex – could be achieved without compromising integrity, kindness, precision and the opportunity to build enduring relationships with our partners.  So we did exactly that.

Our mission is to build meaningful connections with our clients, champion good conscience industry practices and be an exceptional resource to those who journey with us. Our aim is to be an absolute pleasure to work with.


Our reality necessitates a focus on our sustainability and societal impact. Environmental, Societal and Governance considerations are core to ONE39 Central. We’re a proud member of the Green Building Council of South Africa, affirming our commitment to collaboratively inspiring and working towards an environment in which people and planet thrive.

We incorporate sustainability thinking and solutioning into our operations and service delivery. Our clients have benefitted from, for example, marketing collateral that has been repurposed and repackaged to reduce waste and encourage further corporate promotion. Jacques Groenewald 

Our Director and CEO, leads by example with a healthy obsession of customer centricity. His passion and drive to be the change in the industry that we long to see is what sets our company apart from others

Leroy Carelse

Operations Manager
Our Operations Manager, takes care of all the internal structures and processes of our company. Leroy joined the team in August of 2019 and has entrenched himself in nuts and bolts of our operations.

Rheta Carelse

Finance Manager
Our Finance Manager, responsible for ensuring that we are all kept in line when it comes to financial matters. Rheta joined the team early in 2019 and has already proven to be an integral member of the ONE39 Family. Rheta is also responsible for the Wedding’s division of our company. Bringing over 8 years of experience planning and executing a bride’s perfect and special day.

Tania Ward

Senior Project Manager
Our Senior Project Lead and an invaluable member of the team. Tania joined the team in 2018 and is responsible for executing our clients brief. From event brief to post event matters, Tania has you covered. Tania brings a wealth of experience from the graphics and corporate branding industry as well.

Ingrid Jacobs

Project Manager
Our Project Lead and mother of the house. Ingrid joined the team in 2018 and is an important member of our projects team. Ingrid’s expertise in the exhibition industry remains a huge benefit to us.

Cheslyn Davis

Logistics - OPS Central
OPS Central, with the responsibility for the execution and management of all onsite requirements. Cheslyn is the first member to join the team back in 2017. Cheslyn's helpful and calm demeanor has always been a comforting presence on site.

Simphiwe Manini

Production Assitant
Our Production Assistant, responsible for assisting with all on-site, setup requirements and print production. Simphiwe joined the team in 2018 and adds a wealth of experience from his time in the catering industry. Simphiwe continues to grow in stature and his eagerness to learn from other team members is refreshing.

Verushka Jacobs

Admin Support - Print Central
Verushka has been another new addition to our team since April 2021. Her firm grasp of the printing industry has made her an invaluable asset to Print Central. Verushka oversees all our procurement and administration related tasks for our in-house print production. Her quiet and calm demeanor brings about a great balance in an environment that can quickly become busy.

Kevin Coetzee

Team Leader - Print Central
We have been privileged to have Kevin join the team since March 2021. Kevin’s reputation in the Branding & Signage arena made him the perfect candidate to help us establish our own in-house production. Kevin has joined the team as our Print Central Team Lead. He has over 15 years experience in the industry. Nothing is impossible for Kevin. His go-getter and never-say-die attitude is so infectious. It is easy to see why our clients and partners love him.
